Marisa Plescia is an internationally trained cosmetic chemist with advanced graduate credentials spanning cosmetic formulation science, regulatory affairs, and product development. She holds an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Science with an emphasis in Cosmetic Science from the University of Cincinnati, alongside a dual European Fragrance and Cosmetics Masters earned through ISIPCA in Versailles and the University of Padova in Italy. Her industry career at Bell International Laboratories progressed from intern through to Senior Product Innovation Chemist, where she developed expertise formulating a broad range of personal care and beauty products to meet both regulatory and client requirements. Marisa currently serves as President of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toledo, teaching Global Cosmetic Regulations within their Master of Science in Cosmetic Science program.
